Week 1 What is the Purpose of the Intro to Entrepreneurship Course

I found this week’s reading rather interesting and in some ways motivating. I took this class because it was necessary for my degree and not because I was interested in being an entrepreneur.  I think the things that I learned most from this weeks readings and videos where things about myself. “When young people can acquire the skills, the techniques, and the knowledge of these times, and along with it have a spiritual commitment and a solid faith and cleanliness of life, there is nothing that you can’t achieve; nothing in righteousness or in reason.” From this quote from Richard L. Evans it has helped me to realise there are many aspects to being successful. Just being knowledgeable and working hard is not enough, it is important to have a holistic approach to learn the and acquire the temporal knowledge and skills, but in addition to that, to prepare and strengthen ourselves spiritually. I really liked the idea of to achieve we also need to commit to “the cleanliness of life.”
